This month’s Shutter Clique was way cooler than I ever expected. Seeing the photos everyone got are just amazing! Yet, I really shouldn’t be surprised because the amazing photos were all thanks to having a stellar group of subjects. For photographers it was like being a kid in a candy store. Just like Sandy in Grease, I was in awe of the beauty, confidence, and cool that The Pink Ladies exude. Yet, these Pink Ladies are all about doing good and helping Bakersfield be better one good deed at a time.
The Pink Ladies is a non profit children’s charity group. They are all about raising money and having fun doing it. Some of their recent projects have involved a kissing booth during a band night at Fishlips to raise money for the Jamison Center, serving beer at the Scottish fest to donate their tips, and next up is a summer shoes and sandals drive for kids and women at the Alley Cat. The Pink Ladies are also big supporters of the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.
And so without me endlessly rambling on…. Pink Ladies you are beautiful and inspiring! Huge thank you to all who were involved! Ladies, Clique, car owners… dogs… everyone!
And in case you were wondering, the cars were:
A Green 63 Cadillac
Turquoise 1955 Belair
Pink 58 Impala
Black 56 Pontiac
Now here are some of my favs:
