Today’s shoot with the Alvarados was so much fun! Two little ones full of energy, parents with a good sense of humor and lots of love. We wrapped up just before the weather got too crazy. I used the rest of my day to practice my video editing skills and made a little piece of cinema to go along with the shoot. The dynamic energy in this family was so captivating. Often with young kids, the majority of the shoot is determined by their mood. I never mind if group shots don’t go according to plan. It’s those moments in between that I cherish and I tried to reflect that in the video I made. Give me an adorable little girl in a tutu and a cute red headed boy who gives me a hug in the middle of the shoot for no apparent reason – and (sigh) my heart just melts! As I was sorting the photos and looking through all the personality and energy in this family, it truly did make me think, “what a charmed life.” Here are some of my favorite photos and the video.
