There have been so many family sessions lately I thought it was about time to share something bridal! This shoot took place several months ago and I haven’t had the chance to share it until now. Let me begin by saying this photo shoot was the start of so many beautiful things! It was my first time working with Therese, of My Sorted Affair. Therese is an A-Maze-ING event planner. She is responsible for all the beautiful tables you see here, the flowers and the hair accessories. The models’ hair was styled by the oh so talented Hair by Carleen. If you need your hair done for a special event, she is a must!
Last but not least, this shoot was my first time meeting my now good friends, Patrick Ang and Andrew “J Andrew” Skelton. I remember being nervous before this shoot. I was invited by Therese at the last minute and showed up with my camera feeling like a bit of a crasher. Were these other photographers nice? Would they think I was invading their shoot? Would they take me seriously as a photographer and let me contribute? Well, all these worries seem absolutely ridiculous now, and melted away the minute we started shooting together. I was in my element and so were they. It was just like the Blind Melon video with the bee girl. I had found my bees.
Since this shoot I have had the pleasure of working with these talented people several times. Anything they are involved in will be absolutely beautiful, original, and created with complete love for what they do. Hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos.
